Session Fees and Insurance Coverage
My session fees reflect the care, time, and preparation that go into creating a supportive space for you.
Individual (Adult/Teen) sessions:
$150 per 50-minute session
Extended sessions (if requested):
$225 per 75-minute session
Payments
Payments are due by the end of your session, unless we’ve discussed something different in advance. A receipt will be provided, which can be submitted to your insurance provider if applicable.
I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots to support financial accessibility. If cost is a barrier, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to have a conversation about what feels manageable.
Insurance Plan FAQ
Many extended health benefit plans cover therapy with a Registered Social Worker (RSW). I encourage you to check with your provider to see what’s included in your plan.
I do not offer direct billing at this time, but I’m happy to support you in understanding what to ask your insurer. If you’re paying out of pocket or have limited coverage, feel free to reach out. We can talk about options that work for you.
**Most plans do not cover missed appointments or late cancellations, so those fees are your responsibility.

Questions To Ask Your Insurance Carrier
To understand your coverage, consider asking the following:
1. Do I have coverage for therapy or counselling with a Registered Social Worker (RSW)
2. How much coverage do I have per year (e.g., dollar amount or number of sessions)
3. Do I need a referral from a doctor to access this coverage
4. Can sessions be provided virtually (online therapy)
5. What information do you need on the receipt for reimbursement
6. Is there a deductible I need to meet first
7. How do I submit claims—online, by mail, or app
Tip: Some plans list “mental health services” under paramedical or psychological services. Check the fine print or call directly for clarity.
